  • Butter 200g
  • Chocolate 1/2 cup or around 150g
  • coffee 1/4 tablespoons(optional)
  • Eggs 4
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of flour

Steps of making Chocolate lava cake

  1. Take a few cupcake ramekins and grease them with butter and add some flour to them, just to make them dusty. Remove extra flour from the ramekins and keep them aside.
  2. Take a medium-sized bowl and put butter in it and mix it together with crumbled chocolates. Then you can microwave it for 4-5 minutes or use the double boiler method to make it a thick liquid paste.
  3. In a large bowl, add 2 eggs and 2 egg yolks with powdered sugar and blend it together until it becomes fluffy. Now, pour the chocolate and butter mixture into the bowl and blend it all together.
  4. Finish the batter by adding 2 tbsp of flour and half tbsp of coffee in it. Coffee is optional, you can skip it but adding coffee in the batter means enhancing the melted chocolate.
  5. Transfer the batter to the floured ramekins (always remember to not fill the batter to the top).
  6. Bake it for 8-12 min at 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Serving :

Place a plate on top of the ramekins and carefully flip it over. Dust some powdered sugar on top of the cake and add a few fresh raspberries or strawberries as per your taste. If you want to add some ice cream on top of it, you can add any of your favorite flavors.
